Ptl. Isaac Perry-Marine Resource Officer
The Mattapoisett Police Department is the lead agency for maritime enforcement, and public safety for the waterways and beaches of the Town of Mattapoisett.
Under the direct supervision of Ptl. Perry, the Mattapoisett Harbormaster’s Office is responsible for responding to maritime emergencies, search and rescue, recovery, and enforcement of maritime laws. In addition, Ptl. Perry and the Assistant Harbormaster’s perform routine harbor and shoreline patrols of the Mattapoisett waterways to promote marine safety. The Harbormaster’s Office believes that an integral part of preventing boating accidents is promoting, educating and enforcing safety regulations.
Ptl. Perry and his staff are also responsible for the town’s aquaculture projects and shellfish management and enforcement.
