Mattapoisett Police Honor Guard

The Mattapoisett Police Honor Guard was founded to serve as the ceremonial arm of the Mattapoisett Police Department. The purpose of the Honor Guard is to represent the police department in public ceremonies such as the annual Mattapoisett Memorial Day parade and the annual Veteran’s Day services. The Honor Guard represents and serves as ambassadors of the Town of Mattapoisett at events on the local and state level. The Honor Guard will also endeavor to render honors and provide support to members of Law Enforcement and public safety community killed in the line of duty, wherever the need may occur. The Mattapoisett Honor Guard and its members strive to represent the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to duty. Mattapoisett Police currently have five officers assigned to the Honor Guard.
