On 06/01/2018 Mattapoisett Police stopped a motor vehicle traveling west on County Rd. for unregistered, uninsured and attaching plates. The car stop led to the arrest of a passenger James Sylvia, age 18 of Mattapoisett. Sylvia had in his possession quantities of Xanax pills, LSD, MDMA (molly, ecstasy), cocaine, marijuana, 2 scales and $1206.00
Sylvia was charged with Possession of class B substance with intent to distribute, Possession of class E substance with intent to distribute, Possession of class D substance with intent to distribute, Possession of Class B.
